About Us


Prior to founding True Benefit, John Hodson enjoyed a broad career in health insurance sales and management with both Travelers and Connecticare. In 1999, John branched into his own agency and began to steadily build more expertise in providing end-to-end client management, primarily in the health benefits area. In 2000, he was a founding partner in eBenefits Group, LLC, one of the premier benefits consulting firms in the Northeast, with over 450 clients. John is a member of several Broker Advisory Councils for major and regional insurers including United Health Care. John holds a B.S. in Business Administration & Marketing from the University of Connecticut.


Steve is a results oriented sales and marketing entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in the managed care industry. He has held several senior level positions within managed care companies, most recently leading Sales and Account Management teams servicing Small Business, ASO/TPA and National Accounts throughout the East coast for Health Net of the Northeast.
     While leading our sales initiatives, Steve is responsible for managing carrier and customer relationships, initiating and executing industry best practices and insuring that our sales and consulting teams are focused on delivering strategic and comprehensive solutions to and for our clients.
